A funny thing happened to me last month.

I went to the September San Francisco Ken Wilber Meet-Up, and as it happened, the organizer was stepping down.  He put it open for others to volunteer to become the organizer of the Ken Wilber Meet-Ups.  No one was stepping up immediately, so Amy (my fiance, who was at the meeting as well) started nudging me in the ribs, and whispering (Go! You!  You're always on that computer on your blog, integral this, integral that, you do this!).

(On another note, I'll have a post about the September MeetUp, and what was discussed there later).

Long story short, I am now the Ken Wilber Meetup Organizer - at least until they kick me out for causing a scene, or some such...

If you clicked on the link above, you will see the only "web" picture of me - Ebuddha revealed!!  (I see all the yawns from the audience out there...)  The beautiful woman is Amy, the guy with the plastic smile, yeah, that's me.  The picture is from a year and a half ago or so.

We should both be at most Ken Wilber Meetups, since they will probably be at my house , unless I can find a more central location.

So, if you are in the San Francisco area - drop by!!  The format should be something like the following.

a.  Begin with a meditation
b.  View or listen to speaker (on DVD or CD).
c.  If the speaker also recommends practice, follow along WITH the speaker.
d. Discuss the personal reaction to the exercise and the speaker, and how it fits into your path, or discuss the ideas of the speaker.
e.  If there is time, play Taboo, Cranium, Apple to Apples, etc...

Of course, a through e above is fully subject to being changed, so we'll see!
