View Article  Continuing With Identity, Competencies, Skills, and Web 2.0
A good article on a technology infrastructure that can manage and communicate different facets of a person's identity.  One of the first simple schema to both document and exchange integrated information about an individual.

What is tackled:

Eportfolio. I've talke about this here before.
Atom - managed feed syndication
FOAF - RDF vocabulary for social networking
HR-XML - XML models for HR systems.  includes resume, competencies, interests, etc.

Now what would a system like the above track?  (Remember, all these specifications exist and have implementations now.  All are modular, and in this sense simple, as well.)

Interests.
Goals
Achievements
Competencies
Reflective
Folios

And most likely, much more. Make sure to look at the graphic.

Eventually, as I've said many times, this type of infrastructure will serve the Integral Practictioner well, tracking different competencies and achievements in different integral modules, as well as creating community around similar goals.

Great article from Wired about how bands are using MySpace, to create a following.

I guess this is why Stuart Davis is a member of MySpace...
